There are opportunities even for non-musicians to get involved with the Rockport Legion Band. Our librarian can use help organizing all the music for 30 musicians to play 10 – 15 concerts each year. We can use help publicizing the appearances, so a volunteer with experience with social media would be much appreciated. We would love to have someone take photographs and record videos for promotion and for posterity. Contact us at info@rockportlegionband.org if you would like to discuss helping the band. Or join us at a rehearsal. Rehearsals are open to the public, and we rehearse nearly every Thursday evening at 7:30pm at Legion Hall at Rockport’s Back Beach.
