Friendly flautists
If you are (or will be) a resident of Boston’s North Shore area, and are an average to advanced player of a concert band instrument (no matter what your age), OR are one of those unfortunate people whose instrumental playing has “lapsed” and would like to get back to playing, please consider trying us out! If you are a visiting instrumentalist, we would love to have you join us for a rehearsal or a concert. Contact us at info@rockportlegionband.org for more information. Or join us at a rehearsal. Rehearsals are open to the public, and we rehearse nearly every Thursday evening at 7:30pm at Legion Hall at Rockport’s Back Beach.
Currently our personnel needs are greatest on the low end. We would love to have a bassoon, a bass clarinet, a baritone saxophone, a bass trombone, and a tuba. We would also be glad to find a clarinetist or two and another percussionist.
